Cleaning

A thorough cleaning of coated surfaces is necessary to maintain the decorative appearance of the surface finish and to reduce the exposure to corrosion.

Slightly polluted powder-coated aluminum components can be cleaned with soft, non-abrasive cloths and clear water. If necessary small amounts of neutral wetting agent (pH 7.0) can be added.

Do not use any acids or alkalis, abrasives, steel wool or pot cleaners under any circumstances. They destroy the finish layer.
